The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Tanimu Turaki, has called on Nigerians to uphold the virtues of love, sacrifice, and humility as they mark the Christmas season.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Mr Turaki conveyed his goodwill to Christian members of the PDP as well as Christians across the country.

He said the lessons embodied in the life of Jesus Christ represent “timeless principles” that can help reshape Nigeria’s national character and drive economic growth.

According to him, the Christmas season serves as a symbol of shared endurance and collective duty in the quest to build a more united and resilient nation.

“These are not merely seasonal virtues but timeless principles that can transform our country and usher in economic prosperity,” Mr Turaki said.

He reaffirmed the party’s dedication to advancing these ideals in governance, stressing that they are essential to achieving the country’s common goals.
Addressing Nigeria’s prevailing socio-economic difficulties, Mr Turaki encouraged citizens to remain optimistic, noting that perseverance often leads to renewed strength in the face of hardship.

He also offered prayers for peace and prosperity in homes across the nation, while expressing confidence that the coming year would bring “God’s abundant blessings.”
