Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries has urged both the Christian and non-Christian faiths to focus on the reason for Christmas rather than bicker on if Jesus Christ was born on December 25th or not.

The ‘man of God’, who is known for constantly splashing largesses on his church members, said December 25th is about celebrating the “birth” of Christ, not his “birthday”.

He asked those questioning the celebration of Christmas to “tell us when he was born so we unanimously adapt.”

He wrote on Twitter,

Dec 25th is about celebrating the “birth” of Christ, not his “birthday”..focus on the reason for the season, not the history..heavens celebrated so we should too..(Isaiah 9.6, Luke 2.8~14). I understand history… Lot’s wife turned to salt. (Gen19.26) so should we stop eating salt?.RT

There are so many intriguing explanations about Christmas..some say christ wasn’t born Dec 25th..very correct. Please, tell us when he was born so we unanimously adapt..if the heavens celebrated his birth, we should too. (Lk 2.8~14)..the bible is our standard not history.
