Christmas: Apostle Suleman mocks Nigeria as food prices increase
With Christmas festivities around the corner, Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries has mocked Nigeria over the increase in food prices in the country.
The clergyman who took to Twitter said that such is not the case for most countries during the period.
“Nigeria is such a wonderful nation. In most countries, during festive period, food prices are slashed down to help people celebrate well but here it increases… Very wonderful nation we are in,” Apostle Suleman wrote.
Below are some reactions to the clergyman’s tweet.
@Victor67393556 wrote: “Very wonderful nation indeed!! I pray God help me to meet up with the increased bill of my family, I no fit buy any of personal things for myself, just to feed my children dey God hand, it’s well.”
@DarlingtonDibie wrote: “The government has to open the borders ASAP to crash the prices of foodstuffs. The Farmers in Nigeria are capitalizing on the closure of the borders to rip off the masses of this Nation. A bag of foreign rice in neighboring West African countries is not more than 14,000 Naira when our locally produced rice sells for not less than 25,000 Naira.”
@Pastor_Marvelous wrote: “May God build our country to that point sir….but now all we can do is to continue working and praying towards the progress of this our beloved country Nigeria shall be great again…i strongly believe it papa.”
