Nigerian music star Davido and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, have drawn emotional reactions online after a touching exchange on Instagram.
Chioma, who had stayed off social media since the death of their son, Ifeanyi, in 2022, made a quiet but heartfelt return on Thursday. She posted a photo of her wedding bracelet with Ifeanyi’s image and a moving message.
“My best friend walked into me forever, Ify, you’re on my mind every day and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, Mummy,” she wrote.
Davido responded to the post with, “Till Infinity,” a message that many fans described as deeply emotional.
Fans flooded the comments with words of comfort and love for the couple. User Bella commented, “This made me cry, stay strong Chioma.” Another fan, Daniel, wrote, “True love always wins. Stay happy, chef Chi.”
Ifeanyi Adeleke passed away in October 2022 after a drowning incident at Davido’s Banana Island home in Lagos.
Chioma’s return to Instagram comes just days after her white wedding with Davido in Miami on August 10, 2025, an event that drew celebrities and dignitaries from around the world.
