President Muhammadu Buhari along with the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday received Indian Vice President, Hon. Mohammad Hamid Ansari at the Statehouse in Abuja.

During the inauguration of the chancery of the Indian High Commission on Monday in Abuja, Hamid Ansari called for greater economic cooperation between his country and Nigeria, to enhance the economy of the two countries.
Noting that India was Nigeria’s biggest trading partner, Ansari, stated that the two countries have common aspirations to improve the socio-economic status of their citizens.
Ansari, who was accompanied on the visit to Nigeria by his wife, Salma and other officials, explained that he would sign various bilateral agreements with the Federal Government.
