Nigerians are happy with Nigeria’s Super Eagles after their impressive win in Zambia on Sunday.
Many have praised them for the determination they showed in the first World Cup qualifying match. The Eagles succeeded in picking up three points from the match with two away goals to just one by the host Chipolopolo in Ndola, Zambia.
The players are happy too. The team captain, John Mikel Obi believes that the future is bright for the team.
“Three points in Zambia, top of our group, and so much promising young talent the future looks bright,” Mikel tweeted.
For Arsenal FC’s striker who got his first international goal on Sunday it was a happy start.
“Happy to get my 1st international competitive debut start and international competitive goal for my country as well as a win.” he tweeted on Monday.
