Nigerian singer and entertainer, Teniola Apata, aka Teni has lambasted a troll who mocked her for being single.

Teni had taken to the micro-blogging platform to put out a tweet stating that she wanted to start planning a surprise birthday party for herself in December, asking for who will bake her cake.

One of her followers then took to the comment section to ask if the popular singer doesn’t think it’s high time she started a family, adding that she is getting old.

He wrote:

“Na when you go stop all this? And have your own family abi you no dey reason shey you dey old and big? @TeniEntertainer.”

The ‘Case’ crooner replied;

“Your popsi engine still Dey work? Make I become your step mom.”

This got other followers laughing with many asking why the troll wouldn’t mind his business.

The troll has however apologised for what he described as “rude.”

“Hi Teni oba Orin Crown I’m glad I caught your attention, I’m a biggest fan of your Vibe and I’m sorry tho if my comment earlier sounds rude to you can I get an invite”
