The actor made the remarks during a conversation on the Diary of a Naija Girl podcast, where he spoke about how couples and society should handle marital issues and personal mistakes.

“I think the approach should be, if someone messes up in a marriage, it should first come from a place of, ‘How can I help you?'” he said.

According to him, the focus should be on helping the person address the underlying issue before discussions about healing can begin.

“No, this is a problem, how can I help you out of this problem? To deal with it, you have to come out of this problem. It’s a problem before we can start talking about healing,” the actor stated.

He further compared cheating to other forms of wrongdoing, noting that it should be viewed in the same light as behaviours such as lying and stealing.

“Cheating is like other things like lying and stealing,” he said.

In a separate revelation, the actor also opened up about his father’s past, disclosing that his father was once sentenced to death over an alleged coup plot.
