The co-convener of the #OurMumuDonDo movement, Charly Boy who was also at the forefront of the #ResumeOrResign protest has commended the supporters for achieving their aim.
He issued the commendation via Twitter shortly before President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Nigeria after 105 days of absence on medical vacation.
While he was away, the #ResumeOrResign protesters demanded his return after 90 days of his absence. For several days they organised sit-outs at the Unity Fountain Abuja. They only had to stop the protest after when it turned violent and they were attacked at Wuse Market.
However on Saturday after news broke that Buhari was coming, later in the day, Charly Boy tweeted, “Thank God our President is coming back. I Thank the few exceptional Nigerian Youths that forced the discussion. A better Nigeria for us all.”
