Nigerian singer-songwriter, Peter Okoye, has won a bet of $100k after Chelsea beat Real Madrid in the Champions League semifinal on Wednesday night.
Okoye who is fondly called MR. P made the announcement on his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday night.

Chelsea took a bold step into the finals of the competition last night by defeating 13-time champions, Real Madrid by 2-0 (3-1 on aggregate).

Reacting to the victory at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, Okoye claimed that he won a total of $100k which is equivalent to ₦40.8m, according to Morningstar for Currency and Coinbase for Cryptocurrency.

Thanks to Timo Werner and Mason Mount who scored Thomas Tuchel’s side’s goals, the father of two (Okoye) became $100k richer.

Okoye who was a member of the defunct P-Square group has since vowed to bet double his semifinal earning on the Blues again when they square up against Pep Guardiola’s ruthless City side at Istanbul on May 30.

He tweeted;” Who would believe I am $100k richer tonight after Chelsea’s win against Madrid and the individual is about to get $200k bet again in the finals against Man city,” he told his 3.5M Followers.
