Chadwick Boseman gets first posthumous award nomination
Late Hollywood actor, Chadwick Boseman has gotten his first posthumous award nomination for his role in Netflix’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
Boseman who passed away in August got the nod for Best Actor at the IFP Gotham Awards.
Expressing excitement at the news, his brother Kevin Boseman shared:
“I had to sit with this for a couple days. After screening this with him, I told him he was about to get all the nominations and… I was so faithful he’d be here to experience this moment. Congratulations, Baby Brother.”
Boseman who is popular for his role in Black Panther passed away after battling with colon cancer for years.
