Cavani’s stunner against Fulham wins PL Goal of the Month for May
Manchester United striker, Edinson Cavani, has won the Premier League Goal of the Month for May after his long-range volley against Fulham at Old Trafford was voted best.
The Uruguayan spotted Alphonse Areola off his line and chipped the goalkeeper with a first-time shot from 40 yards to open the scoring in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
Cavani is the second United player to clinch the Budweiser award this season after Bruno Fernandes took the prize for his goal against Everton in February.
His stunning effort was chosen by a panel of experts combined with a public vote, beating seven other contenders
