Carabao Cup: Arsenal defeat Leeds 2-0 to enter quarter-final
Arsenal qualified for the quarter-finals of the EFL Carabao Cup on Tuesday night after defeating Leeds United 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side held The Gunners to a goalless first half in the fourth-round tie but they had no answer for Mikel Arteta’s men in the second half as the hosts came blazing.
Calum Chambers (55′) broked the deadlock after 10 minutes into the second half while Eddie Nketiah (69′) put the cherry on the icing nine minutes after to complete the 2-0 win for Arsenal.
