Dallas Good, singer and guitarist for Canadian country-rock band, The Sadies, is dead.
He died at the age of 48.
The musician’s death was announced by the group in a statement shared on Facebook, as they expressed their ‘unfathomable sadness’ over his ‘sudden passing’.
‘It’s with unfathomable sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dallas on Thursday, February 17th,’ they said.
‘Forty eight years old, he died of natural causes while under doctor’s care for a coronary illness discovered earlier this week.’
The Sadies described their late bandmate as ‘a son, a brother, a husband, a friend, a bandmate, a leader, a force to be reckoned with’, saying that they ‘have no words for the shock we are all feeling’.
