Embattled Canadian rapper, Tory Lanez, has been hospitalized after being stabbed at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi.
The incident occurred on Monday, during an altercation with another inmate.
According to reports, the 32-year-old artist sustained injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
Lanez was transported to the hospital in an ambulance following the attack, while authorities continue to investigate the motive behind the stabbing.
Lanez is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for his involvement in the 2020 shooting of rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
During the trial, Megan testified that Lanez told her to “dance” before opening fire.
