The Confederation of African Football and the AFCON Morocco 2025 Local Organising Committee have announced that fans travelling for the tournament can now get free electronic visas.

The new policy covers citizens of countries that normally need a visa to enter Morocco.

CAF said in a statement on Friday that the e-visas, which are available through the YALLA app, will now be issued at no cost to supporters attending the competition from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.

The body explained that interest in the tournament is rising as more fans buy tickets ahead of the event.

CAF said supporters need two things to stay in Morocco and enter the stadiums. They need a Fan ID and an e-visa.

The statement reads, “A Fan ID is mandatory for entry to all stadiums and official Fan Areas. Supporters can apply for both the Fan ID and e-visa in one place inside the YALLA app, streamlining travel and stadium access.”

It added that the process inside the app is simple and fast for both international and local fans.

To apply, fans are expected to download the YALLA app from Google Play or the App Store, or visit the official YALLA website, fill in the Fan ID form, and submit the e-visa request if needed.

Once approved, fans can go ahead to buy match tickets on the CAF ticketing platform.

CAF said the move is meant to make the travel and stadium experience smooth and secure for fans coming for Africa’s biggest football event. The games will be played across nine stadiums in six cities.

This will be Morocco’s first time hosting the tournament since 1988. Football lovers across the continent are looking forward to exciting matches, fresh rivalries and rising stars.

A total of 24 teams are expected to take part.
