The Corporate Affairs Commission has issued a fresh warning to Nigerians about 15 fake companies operating with invalid registration numbers across the country.

The alert, released on Wednesday through the commission’s X page, cautioned the public to be careful when dealing with any individual or organisation using the listed names. The commission said this notice became necessary following rising public complaints about suspicious firms pretending to be legally registered.

According to the CAC, the following entities are not registered:

Famas Services Nigeria Limited – RC 216312
Promo Dutch Investment Limited – RC 396654
Dialack Concept Nig. Ltd – RC 297772
Purpleheart Construction and Real Estate Mgt. Co. Ltd – RC 1210548
M/S Loktu Enterprises – BN 373466
Loktu Enterprises – BN 400390
Badatoyak Ltd – RC 521322
Johnson Nats Limited – RC 198492
Peoples Club Nigeria International – CAC/IT/41191
Jiba Enterprise – BN 577523
Civil Engineering Solutions Nigeria Limited – RC 33001
Gabdoff Hotel Ltd – RC 112409
Amoka Group – BN 545221
BEEC Nigeria Limited – RC 30143
S. Adetunji – BN 657466

The commission explained that it issues compliance alerts from time to time, but this particular announcement responds to a growing wave of fraudulent business activities reported by Nigerians.

The CAC urged the public to always confirm the legal status of any entity before making payments or signing agreements. It advised Nigerians to verify business names and registration numbers on the CAC online portal, request incorporation documents for major transactions, avoid dealing with companies that cannot be confirmed, and report any suspicious cases to the CAC or security agencies.

The commission said the warning is part of efforts to protect the public from scams carried out under fake corporate identities.
