Twitter users have criticised the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for pledging their support for the embattled senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) Biodun Fatoyinbo.

This is coming after the religious body paid a visit to COZA on Sunday in the midst of the rape allegations by Busola Dakolo.

The clergymen said they were impressed by the church and have been greatly blessed by the church, they also said the church supports and stands by Biodun Fatoyinbo.

CAN also promised to continue praying for him and adding that “the gates of hell will not prevail”.

The video has however garnered diverse comments as Nigerians described the clergymen as clowns.
