A security guard working for Nigerian Afrobeats star, Ebunoluwa Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has taken a swipe at fellow music star David Adeleke, aka Davido, stirring reactions across social media platforms.
Burna Boy recently took delivery of a multi-million naira McLaren Senna sports car, a development that quickly trended online.
While posing with the luxury vehicle, the guard, in a video shared on TikTok, reignited the ongoing tension between the two artists.
In the video, he asked, “Who the hell is Davido?” while proudly standing beside Burna Boy’s latest acquisition.
Many fans of Davido, who recently reunited with his first daughter, were not pleased with the guard’s remark.
They criticized the security aide harshly, with some calling him a “slave” and mocking the fact that he was merely posing with a car he may never get the opportunity to drive.
Others questioned the motive behind the attack, pointing to a pattern of Davido being consistently targeted online.
The fan rivalry between Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid—Nigeria’s top three Afrobeats acts—has fueled ongoing tension in the industry, often spilling over to their supporters and associates.
Reactions have continued to trail the security guard’s statement:
@beautytrapbar wrote: “Very heavy weakness sign full your body guy.”
