The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), asked that the appointment of Major General Farouk Yahaya, as the Chief of Army Staff be confirmed.
Buhari, in his letter, addressed to the President of the Senate, urged the federal lawmakers to treat his request rapidly.
