Buhari, Tinubu and others celebrate Sanwo-Olu at 57

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), and other Nigerian leaders have congratulated the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on his 57th birthday.

The president, in a congratulatory message issued by his spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, on Saturday in Abuja, noted the visionary leadership of the governor with impact on infrastructure, security, business outlook and public service.

He also lauded the governor for creating opportunities for Nigerians and foreign investors to benefit from the economic vibrancy of the state.

Also the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his congratulatory message by his media spokesperson, Tunde Rahman said Sanwo-Olu had exceeded expectations from his tenure.

He said Sanwo-Olu’s achievements were numerous to mention, noting that this had garnered him the love and adoration of the people of Lagos, young and old, male and female.

The former governor of Lagos described Sanwo-Olu as “a man of high intellect, deep political acumen, and exceptional character”.

Meanwhile, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has rejoiced with Governor Sanwo-Olu on his 57th birthday.

The Speaker, according to the statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, titled ‘Gbajabiamila Salutes Sanwo-Olu at 57,’ said he had noted with delight, the way Sanwo-Olu maintained the development strides that “Lagos is known for.”

Gbajabiamila added that the Lagos governor has proved to be a worthy progressive.

Also, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa,

Obasa said that Governor Sanwo-Olu’s purposefulness and dedication to serving the people of Lagos has resulted in unprecedented achievements even in the face of current economic realities.

He added, “Under your administration and supported by the state legislature, our dear state has kept on setting the pace for others to follow as we grow greater and develop better.

“As you celebrate your birthday, my colleagues and I pray to God to continue to keep you in good health, amen.”
