Buhari appoints Balarabe Ilelah NBC DG
The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Balarabe Ilelah as the new Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
According to a statement signed by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed in Abuja on Friday, the appointment of Ilelah who is a veteran broadcaster was for a five-year tenure.
The statement was signed and made available to newsmen by Mr Segun Adeyemi, the Special Assistant to the President (Media), Office of the Minister of Information and Culture.
