Manchester United staged a stunning comeback to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 in a thrilling Premier League match at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Bruno Fernandes scored the winner from the penalty spot as United recovered from 2-0 down inside four minutes to claim all three points.
Trailing to early goals from Taiwo Awoniyi and Willy Boly, Erik ten Hag’s side showed tremendous spirit to battle back through Christian Eriksen and Casemiro strikes before Fernandes’ decisive penalty.
Forest had led 2-0 after just four minutes thanks to Awoniyi’s fine solo effort and an unmarked header from Boly.
But Eriksen pulled one back on 17 minutes before Casemiro leveled the scores following good work from Rashford and Fernandes.
Fernandes kept his nerve to score the winner from the penalty spot and complete an incredible turnaround for United.
Forest ended the game with 10 men after Morgan Gibbs-White was sent off late as United held on for a vital 3-2 victory.
