Afrobeats singer Oxlade has urged Nigerian artistes to make their songs longer, rather than keeping them short.

He made the appeal through a post on his social media account, writing: “Bring Back 5 Minutes Songs.”

The post generated various reactions from fans, who shared their opinions in the comment section.

Artu Samak wrote: “Tbh, I grew up thinking a song should be 4 minutes long. Until dem Davido and Wizkid came. Then Mayorkun, kizz Daniel and co na reduce everything to 2-3 minutes 🤦🏾‍♂️”
