A bride-to-be, identified as Jessica Lally, has died while riding a bucking bronco on a night out.
The 26-year-old was said to have died from a heart attack after she fell off the bull at Broncoโs Rodeo in West Street, Sheffield.
The SUN reports that Jessica, who was a manager for a jewelry company, Pandora, was planning to tie the knot with her partner before tragedy struck.
Jessicaโs mum, 66-year-old Joan said: โSheโd got her whole life planned. They were going to get married.
โShe always wrote these fantastic Christmas lists, but that year sheโd just put: a house, a ring, and a baby.โ
โI donโt know why she decided to go on it. She was just having fun I suppose,โ Joan continued.
โSheโd just gone out for a night out and then we had police at the door at midnight. Weโre still going through it now. Sometimes we still fall into pieces. Itโs been heartbreaking.โ
General manager of Broncoโs Rodeo, Christopher Brown, said that Jessica โappeared to suffer from a fitโ and that the bull was โmoving on the slowest speedโ.
He said: โFrom the CCTV the lady in question appeared to be out having a good time with her friends and excited to ride the bull.
โShe passed all of our safety checks before mounting the bull.
โShe then very quickly after the ride started appeared to have lost consciousness sliding off under her own body weight.
He further added that: โThe venue decided to close the following week allowing our staff to recover from the shock and allowing police and the council to do their investigation.
โThe councilโs investigation shows that the cause of death was not related to the bull and unfortunately we havenโt been given the official cause of death yet.โ
