A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has faulted an alleged claim by feminists that bride price turns women into the property of her spouse.
Reno who is known to drop pieces of information called #RenosNuggets via his official Twitter handle made this known on Thursday.
According to Omokri, Feminists are wrong about their opinion on bride price, arguing that it makes a bride precious.
“Feminists claim that a bride price turns women into property. But think deeply. When a woman goes to a hospital to have a baby, doesn’t she pay the doctor? Does that make her baby property? No. It makes her baby PRECIOUS! Bride price makes brides PRECIOUS.”
