BREAKING: Popular Yoruba actor, Alabi Yellow, is dead
Popular Yoruba actor, Samuel Oludayo Akinpelu, popularly known as Alabi Yellow, has died.
The actor is believed to have died on Sunday in his home in Ikorodu, Lagos.
News broke in March that Alabi Yellow suffered a partial stroke shortly after the death of his wife.
He was, however, supported by philanthropist, Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi, with N10 million in April for treatment.
The experienced actor enjoyed an enviable presence in Nigeria’s movie industry for several years.
Alabi Yellow last known movie role was in Kunle Afolayan’s Mokalik.
The actor was a leader in the Celestial Church of Christ.
