A commercial cab driver has allegedly been shot dead by a police officer at the Rumuokoro Junction, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Though reports are still sketchy, social media users claimed the driver was picking up passengers at the junction.
The trigger-happy policeman was reportedly escorting a fully loaded trailer. He was said to have shot and killed the cab driver for allegedly loading passengers in front of the trailer.
Meanwhile, the cab driver’s colleagues are protesting and searching for the policeman, who ran away after the incident.
