Nigeria’s duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi have been adjudged the best young players on the African continent, WuzupNaija can report.
While Iheanacho picked up the most promising talent award, Iwobi was rewarded as the youth player of the outgone year by the Confederation of African Football.
The awards were both received by Amanju Pinnick, the president of the Nigeria Football Federation on behalf of the players who were both busy for their Manchester City and Arsenal in the English Premier League.
Iheanacho is presently regarded as the most lethal striker in the EPL with an amazing statistics in front of goal while Iwobi is highly rated by Arsene Wenger who has repeatedly thrust him into serious action in the league and European cup competitions.
