With less than an hour before Nigeria’s U-23 football team, Dream Team VI, take to the field to play Germany in the semi final of football event of ongoing Rio 2016 Olympics, Brazil have qualified for the final.
The host country qualified for the final match with a 6-0 win against Honduras.
Barcelona ace Neymar scored the fastest ever goal in Olympic history as he scored in the 14th seconds before they put Honduras to shreds in the Olympic men’s football first semi-final match.
Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus grabbed two goals for Brazil in a first half in which Honduras got nowhere near their opponents.
And just after the break Marquinhos scored from a corner to make it 4-0.
In the 79th minute, the Samba Boys had made it 5-0 with Luan completing a breath-taking move with a simple tap-in after he had been involved in the build-up.
And in the final seconds Neymar rolled in an exquisite penalty as Brazil tasted the joy of six in front of their adoring fans.
