A yet to be identified driver of a van belonging to Penco Nigeria Limited has left three people unconscious after he lost control and rammed into a tailoring shop in Umuahia, Abia State.
The accident reportedly caused pandemonium in the area on Tuesday as residents accused the driver of over speeding.
The driver, however, insisted that he lost control as a result of brake failure.
The victims have since been taken to an undisclosed hospital in the area for medical attention.
Penco Nigeria Limited is said to specialise in the distribution of drinks within the metropolis.
