A yet to be identified driver was on Friday left unconscious after he reportedly lost control of his Mercedes-Benz SUV and crashed into a shop along the roadside within Lagos metropolis.
A witness who gave his name as James Adeshina said the driver was left unconscious for over 30 minutes while onlookers who were supposed to help him to a nearby clinic were busy taking pictures of the accident.
He said the accident occurred following a brake failure, adding that the driver was left all alone without any help.
Adeshina further hinted that the driver was later taken to a nearby clinic by him and one other bus driver.
He said the victim had regained consciousness after he was admitted to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention.
