Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has named a 23-man squad for their upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe.
The list includes three invitees: Jordan Torunarigha, Victor Boniface, and Gift Orban.
The squad includes familiar faces such as Kelechi Ihenacho, Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, and William Troost-Ekong.
The Super Eagles have already qualified for the AFCON with a game to spare, so this match is essentially a dead rubber. However, Peseiro will be looking to use the game to give some of his fringe players a chance to impress.
The match will be played on September 10 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
