The organisers of the Best of Nollywood Awards have officially opened the call for entries for the 2025 edition, which is scheduled to take place in Ilorin, Kwara State.
According to a statement signed by Olayinka Adesina on behalf of the BON Awards, submissions began on May 1, 2025, and will remain open until July 30, 2025.
Filmmakers and industry stakeholders are encouraged to submit their works for consideration.
“We are pleased to announce that the entry period for the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards is now open. This presents a valuable opportunity for filmmakers, actors, and industry professionals to showcase their work and compete for prestigious awards. To submit works, kindly visit the Filmfreeway. We wish you the best of luck and look forward to reviewing your submissions,” the statement read.
Founded by Seun Oloketuyi, the BON Awards recently signed a two-year hosting rights agreement with Kwara State. The 2024 edition of the ceremony was held at the Sugar Factory in Ilorin, setting the stage for another celebration of excellence in Nigerian cinema.
