Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o and fellow actor Joshua Jackson were recently spotted together holding hands after rumours of being in a romantic relationship.
This public display comes just days after the two tried to conceal their relationship during a grocery run in Los Angeles.
Lupita, trying to maintain a low profile, entered and exited the store separately from Joshua.
The couple was seen on Tuesday walking hand in hand in Joshua Tree, California, looking happy and comfortable.
The photos captured them chatting, smiling, and seemingly enjoying each other’s company.
A source close to the couple revealed, “Things have slowly turned to romance between the two. They have been amazing friends for a long time, and Josh didn’t want to ruin that. But as they’ve hung out more and more and dealt with their breakups, dealing with it together has added another level to their friendship. Now it is a physical relationship. They are a couple.”
Lupita announced her split from Selema Masekela on October 19, shortly after being seen with Joshua Jackson at a Janelle Monáe concert.
On the other hand, Joshua’s estranged wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, filed for divorce in October, ending their four-year marriage.
At that time, a source insisted that “nothing romantic” was happening between Lupita and Joshua. However, recent developments suggest otherwise.
