A student at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, formerly Anambra State University, has been shot dead by suspected cultists.
According to reports, the victim, Odera Chuks, was a 300 Level Political Science student at the university.
He was said to have belonged to the Black Axe Confraternity and was shot dead during a battle of supremacy on Monday.
According to multiple media sources, Odera Chuks was killed on Monday around a lodge where students reside.
He was reportedly a member of the Blackaxe cult and was killed by fellow Blackaxe cult members in a fight for who will be the next Point One.
Family members and Friends of the deceased have taken to Facebook to mourn him.
