Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have arrested a 52-year-old businessman, Ejiofor Godwin Emeka, at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport after he excreted 127 wraps of cocaine hidden in his body.

NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, said in a statement on Sunday that Emeka, who runs boutiques in Lagos and Onitsha, Anambra State, was arrested upon arrival from Bangkok, Thailand, on Ethiopian Airlines flight ET 941 on October 8, 2025.

According to Babafemi, Emeka was taken in after a body scan confirmed that he had ingested cocaine and concealed some of it in his private part.

“Fifty-eight wraps of cocaine were first recovered from his pants before he was placed under observation. He later excreted 69 more wraps in seven rounds, bringing the total to 127 wraps weighing 1.388 kilograms,” Babafemi said.
