Popular On Air Personality, Omotunde Adebowale-David, popularly known as Lolo 1, has replied critics who body shamed her for a recent outfit she wore on her Instagram page, saying big stomach is not a curse especially if treasures were incubated there.

The actress had gotten more than she bargained for when she posted a picture on Instagram last weekend. In the said picture, she put on a blue blouse, blue mini skirt and fishnet and added the caption, “Off to my plenty events tonight…”

No sooner had she posted the picture than it attracted several comments. Many of the commenters chastised her for wearing such an outfit, claiming that it wasn’t befitting of her status as a mother. Others also stated that the outfit wasn’t appropriate for her body frame. However, some followers also stood by her and lambasted those who spoke against the picture for body-shaming her.

Reacting later, Lolo wrote on Instagram,

“Laugh in the midst of trials because none is built to last. The expiry date is on every drug purchased. An overcomer does not sit with naysayers. Every bit of us is carefully crafted. Big boobs, big stomach, big arms, big bum, big anything you have was upon you on creation, so don’t let anyone who has no say in your creation make you feel less. #notobodyshaming

#bigstomachisnotacurse especially if treasures were incubated there.”
