Unreleased songs by Beyoncé and secret plans for her Cowboy Carter tour have been stolen from a rental car in Atlanta, United States.

Atlanta police confirmed that the theft happened on July 8, just days before the singer’s four-night show at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The car, rented by Beyoncé’s choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue, was reportedly broken into while parked at a parking deck. The suspects broke into the trunk and escaped with two suitcases.

According to the police report, the stolen items include hard drives containing watermarked music, unreleased songs, footage, past and future show set lists, costumes, AirPods Max headphones, and MacBook laptops.

Local TV station WSB-TV first reported the incident, revealing that police have identified a suspect and issued a warrant for arrest. Officers said they dusted the car for fingerprints and reviewed security camera footage from the scene.

Using the Find My app, police traced the AirPods and laptops to an undisclosed location where they stopped a suspicious person. However, the suspect remains on the run.

The incident is the latest challenge on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour. In June, one of her shows in Houston was briefly halted after a prop car malfunctioned in midair.

Beyoncé has not commented on the theft. She concluded her Atlanta shows on Monday and is expected to wrap up the tour in Las Vegas later this month.
