Beyoncé and Rihanna have both secured spots on Forbes’ 11th annual list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women, with the two music superstars now ranked among the country’s wealthiest female billionaires.

Beyoncé ranked 43rd on the list with an estimated net worth of $1 billion, while Rihanna placed 39th, also with a $1 billion fortune.

Forbes said Beyoncé’s entry into the billionaire ranks came after her highly successful 2025 Cowboy Carter Tour, which brought in more than $450 million in ticket sales and merchandise. The magazine noted that her bold pivot to country music led to the most successful concert tour in the genre’s history.

Another key to her success, Forbes reported, is that Beyoncé founded Parkwood Entertainment in 2010 to control all aspects of her career, from producing her own music and concerts to managing her career.

Rihanna, 38, has built her fortune primarily through her Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty brands, expanding far beyond her music career into fashion and beauty.

For the ninth year in a row, building materials entrepreneur Diane Hendricks topped the list with an estimated net worth of $21.7 billion.

The 2026 ranking includes 43 self-made female billionaires, up from 38 a year ago. Nearly half of the honorees can trace their wealth back to technology.

Other entertainment figures on the list include Oprah Winfrey ranked 16th with $3.4 billion, Taylor Swift at 23rd with $2 billion, and Kim Kardashian at 25th with $1.9 billion.

“The growing power of celebrity-led business empires” was highlighted by Forbes, with the magazine noting that these stars have expanded far beyond entertainment into beauty, fashion, media and consumer products.
