Fans at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas were left in shock on Saturday, July 26, when Beyoncé brought out her Destiny’s Child bandmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, during the final show of her Cowboy Carter Tour.

The surprise moment happened during the Renaissance part of the concert. Beyoncé had briefly left the stage, only to return shouting, “Destiny’s Child, b—t!” as the crowd screamed. Their 2000 hit “Independent Women” started playing as the trio took the stage together for the first time in seven years.

They performed a medley of hits, starting with “Lose My Breath,” followed by Beyoncé’s “Energy,” and then ended with the fan favorite “Bootylicious.” It was the first time the group had performed “Bootylicious” live since Beyoncé’s 2013 Super Bowl halftime show.

After the show, Beyoncé shared a photo on Instagram with Kelly and Michelle by her side, smiling. The other two also posted pictures from the big night on their own pages.

Destiny’s Child formed in 1997 and is known as one of the most successful girl groups ever. Though they officially split in 2006, the trio reunited for performances at the 2013 Super Bowl and at Coachella in 2018.

Over their career, the group scored 10 top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, including number one hits like “Say My Name,” “Independent Women,” “Bills, Bills, Bills,” and “Bootylicious.” They also had four top 10 albums on the Billboard 200.

The Las Vegas concert also featured other surprise guests. Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, joined her onstage to perform “Crazy in Love” and his solo hit “N—s in Paris.” Rising star Shaboozey also appeared, performing alongside Beyoncé on tracks like “Sweet Honey Buckiin’” and “Summer Renaissance.”

As the show wrapped up, Beyoncé addressed the crowd with a powerful message.

“Don’t ever ask permission for something that already belongs to you,” she said. “God bless you, drive home safe, thank you for tonight! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this a reality. I’m so deeply grateful.”

Big names like Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Kris Jenner, and Khloé Kardashian were spotted in the VIP section.

The Cowboy Carter Tour ended after major stops in cities including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, and Beyoncé’s hometown, Houston.
