Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, is 60 today, 23 April 2020.
The governor took to the microblogging platform, Twitter, to give gratitude to God for adding another year to him.
He wrote;
“To God be the glory for bringing me to the diamond age today!”
In a bid to mark his 60th birthday, his wife, Dr Mrs Eunice Erdoo Ortom alongside him and other top government officials on Friday stormed the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Gboko Road, Makurdi.
He is expected to meet with widows, orphans and the disabled as part of activities marking his diamond age.
This was disclosed in an earlier statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase.
Other officials who accompanied the Governor to the RCCG included the Deputy Governor, Engineer Benson Abounu, Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Titus Uba, Secretary to the Benue State Government, Professor Anthony Ijohor, State Head of Service, Mrs Veronica Onyeke are part of the Church Service.
Also, Commissioner, Special Advisers, heads of government agencies as well as other top government functionaries were part of the event.
