Bellingham breaks Ronaldo, Hazard Madrid records after three games

Jude Bellingham scored his fourth La Liga goal in three games for Real Madrid on Saturday, matching a feat achieved by club legend Ronaldo. The 20-year-old English midfielder netted the winner against Celta Vigo to keep Madrid at the table with nine points.

With his early goal-scoring form, Bellingham has emulated Ronaldo’s record of four goals in his first three Spanish league matches for Real Madrid in 2009.

Bellingham’s impact has been immediate since joining Madrid this summer from Borussia Dortmund for €103 million. He has scored in every league game so far, earning praise from fans.

His remarkable start contrasts with Eden Hazard’s dismal four-year spell,  who scored just four La Liga goals total in 54 matches for the Spanish giant— Bellingham’s current three-game tally.

Hazard is now without a club after being released by Madrid and is reportedly considering retirement after receiving no offers.

Meanwhile, Bellingham’s star continues to rise after seamlessly replacing Karim Benzema, who moved to PSG. The young Englishman looks set to have a long and successful career at the Bernabeu
