Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic has taken to social media to advise critics minding her business.
The actress, who realised that people are of the opinion that because she doesn’t post labels, exotic trips she’s not balling took to social media to clear the air on such a preposterous thought.
Dominic told them that those who feel or think that way have poverty mentality as living such an open life doesn’t define your riches.
In a post on her Instastories, the actress was shocked on why social media posts have become the yardstick for determining who is wealthy and who is poor.
According to the screen goddess, happiness and healthy living is all that you need to be wealthy.
She said:
“So social media has now become the yardstick to measure wealth ? LOL.
Some people think cos you don’t post certain things like Designer Labels, Holidays, how much you have ETC on yor page means you are not balling ?
Wow!! Poverty Mentality much.
Happiness or in your words balling means different things to different people.
This life isn’t that serious, be happy you are alive and healthy and foremost”
