Sultana has been crowned the interim Head of House for the sixth week of the Big Brother Naija Season 10, tagged ‘Ten Over Ten’.
The announcement followed Sunday’s live eviction show, after which housemates were summoned to the arena for the weekly HoH games.
The competition unfolded in three stages. After the first two rounds, Sultana and Mensan advanced to the final stage, where Sultana ultimately secured victory.
However, with a new twist introduced into the game, her tenure as HoH remains tentative. She must defend her title in a special HoH challenger match on Monday. If another contestant outperforms her, she risks losing the position.
Meanwhile, Joanna was named the house snail for the week, a designation given to the housemate with the weakest performance during the HoH challenge.
In a related development, Big Brother imposed several restrictions in the house, locking the lounge and banning housemates from using standard amenities such as chairs, beds, pillows, and blenders. In place of these, wooden stools, mats, and a mortar and pestle were provided. The restrictions are believed to be a consequence of the housemates’ failed wager.
This season of BBNaija began with a two-day launch event. The female contestants were introduced on July 26, followed by the male housemates on July 27, bringing the total number of participants to 29.
The winner of the ‘Ten Over Ten’ edition will walk away with a record-breaking grand prize of ₦150 million — the highest in the show’s history since its inception in 2006.
So far, Danboskid and Ibifubara were the first housemates to be evicted on August 10. Otega and Kayinkunmi followed the next week, while Sabrina exited the show on medical grounds. Most recently, Victory and Gigi Jasmine were evicted on August 24.
