Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Abiri Oluwabusayo, better known as Khloe, has reacted to the recent claims that she assaulted her friend Chizoba during a trip to Spain.
The accusation, which quickly spread on social media, claimed that Khloe attacked Chizoba after a heated disagreement while they were attending a wedding in Lake Como. However, Khloe has now shared her version of what happened, saying the story being spread online is not accurate.
In a long message on her social media page, Khloe explained that the trip to Italy was supposed to be a peaceful and joyful time as they had gathered for a friend’s wedding.
“I traveled to Lake Como for what was supposed to be a beautiful occasion — the wedding of a dear friend,” she wrote. “It was meant to be joyful, peaceful, and full of love. Instead, it spiraled into something I never could have imagined.”
Khloe said the argument began when Chizoba asked her for the room key because she wanted to leave the party and return to the villa. Khloe said she refused to give her the key right away, not out of anger but out of concern.
“She wanted to leave to the villa and pack her things. Out of genuine concern, I held onto the room key. Not to control her but to try and talk before things got worse,” Khloe explained.
She also shared that she had earlier welcomed Chizoba and another guest, Caramel, to the villa without knowing there were unresolved issues between the two.
“I acted with good intentions,” she said. “I thought maybe being in close quarters would allow them to talk and move forward. I wanted peace, not drama.”
Khloe said she tried to calm things down at the wedding by formally introducing both women, but instead, things got worse and led to a public disagreement.
Khole stated that she didn’t beat Chizoba but held her tight and left marks on her body because Chizoba was light-skinned. Chizoba, on the other hand, slammed her to the glass. Yelling, “I’ll just kill you.” She also alleged that her other friends joined hands with Chizoba to fight her.
This incident comes shortly after Khloe was also called out in a separate matter involving her spa business, KokobyKhloe.
A travel and lifestyle content creator, Angelica Kelechi, recently accused a male staff member at Khloe’s spa of sexually assaulting her during a massage. Angelica said the masseur touched her inappropriately several times.
She also claimed that when she reported the matter to Khloe, the reality star allegedly dismissed it by saying, “These things happen at a massage.” Angelica released a voice recording, which she said proved Khloe made the remark.
Angelica said she later reported the case to the police but was blamed and shamed for going to the spa in the first place.
