Big Brother Naija Season 10 took another dramatic turn on Monday night as Zita snatched the Head of House crown for the second time this season, making her one of the most dominant players in the house.
The tense HoH challenge featured Faith, Thelma Lawson, Bright Morgan, Zita, and Kola, the same finalists from Sunday’s contest. After a fierce battle, Zita outlasted her rivals and dethroned Koyin, who had only just taken over as HoH less than 24 hours earlier.
With her win, Zita secured immunity from eviction for the week and got the privilege of choosing a house guest. She picked Kola to share the HoH lounge with her, a decision that has sparked conversations among viewers about her alliances and strategy.
This is not the first time Zita has toppled an interim HoH. In Week Four, she dethroned Doris and went on to pick Rooboy as her lounge partner. Her choice of Kola this time shows a fresh twist in her game plan.
Koyin, who lost the crown, had selected Jason Jae as his lounge partner after his Week Eight victory on Sunday. His short-lived reign ended abruptly when Zita reclaimed the title.
Earlier, Koyin read out this week’s house brief, unveiling the theme “Flying Solo.” Housemates are expected to explore self-discovery while working in pairs to create cultural presentations on Nigerian states. The outcome of the wager will determine their food supplies for the coming week.
Meanwhile, Faith was named the Most Influential Player, which earned him automatic immunity from eviction.
With Zita back in control, fans are already predicting more twists and alliances as the competition heats up.
