Big Brother Naija Season Six housemate, Hazel Oyeze Onou popularly known as Whitemoney, on Wednesday explained why he did not take his formal education to the university level.
Whitemoney, arguably one of the bookmakers’ favourites to land the prize money, made the revelation during a conversation with JMK, one of the four new entrants who strutted into the house three days ago.
According to the housemate, who many have described as a paragon of humility, he could not secure a degree because he didn’t have the opportunity to gain admission into any university.
The 29-year-old Lagos based businessman, however, told JMK that he has two brothers and no sister, adding that his siblings are ‘big men’ who have so many certifications.
“Any degree you want to talk about, they have them. As for me, as I managed to finish my NECO, I said, ‘To God be the glory’, Whitemoney said.
When asked how he was able to escape going to school like his brothers, Whitemoney answered, “I didn’t escape it, I just didn’t have an opportunity to go. That’s just it. But it didn’t stop my limit. It didn’t stop me from achieving things.
“I’m well outspoken if I want to speak. I speak it without any ‘comma’. I write too. That’s the basic thing. Every other thing is extra. I pay you to do it.”
