In a keenly contested Abeg task in the Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ on Saturday, Team Giveaways brushed aside the challenge of three other groups to emerge victorious.
With the feat, the winning five-housemate team which comprised of Tega, Cross, Angel, JayPaul and JMK clinched the grand prize of N2.5m at stake.
The task, which took place on Friday, saw the housemates put up a brilliant dance drama with the aide of ‘Abeg cash transfer’ jingle.
The competing housemates were shared into four teams of five members each namely Team Giveaways, Team Smiles, Team Send Money and Team Badges.
With the accomplishment of the last task, Team Giveaways was announced the winners of the Friday Abeg presentation after garnering the highest points.
While reeling out the result, Biggie announced that each of the winning housemate would earn N.5 each, totalling N2.5m in all.
Members of Team Smiles bagged N.3m each after coming second.
Team Send Money finished third with each teammate pocketing N.2m each.
The last Team Badges were also privileged to be awarded N.1m each.
In all, the Abeg brand splashed N5.5 million on the competing housemates on Friday
