BBNaija: Biggie calls out Kola, Bright Morgan, others over mics

Drama swept through the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house on Monday night as Big Brother issued a final warning to some housemates for repeatedly tampering with their microphones.

After the live nomination session, Biggie expressed disappointment over the housemates’ failure to follow one of the show’s key rules. He stressed that the microphones are the main link between the housemates and viewers, and tampering with them is a serious breach.

“Housemates, your microphones are your connection to Big Brother and to the audience. Covering or switching them off is unacceptable,” Biggie said. “This is your final warning. Any more infringements will lead to serious penalties for the individuals and could affect the house as a whole.”

The housemates called out for breaking the rule include Kola, Bright Morgan, Doris, Isabella, Mensan, Rooboy, Sultana, and Thelma Lawson.

In another twist during the night, Big Brother shocked the house by declaring that the Week 5 nominations had been nullified. This came after Rooboy, the Head of House, picked a power from the Tree of Trinkets.

“Head of House Rooboy, you have drawn the power to nullify nominations. This means your nominations are null and void. Is this clear? It means the whole house is safe and free from eviction for the week,” Biggie announced, prompting cheers and claps from the housemates.

Earlier during the nomination session, housemates had taken turns nominating two fellow contestants for possible eviction, with Ivatar, Faith, Thelma, Zita, Tracy, and Sultana initially put up. However, with the twist, no one will be leaving the house based on nominations this week.
